Larry: Well my 560D ended its career same as yours, but it had 11,000 hours in 17 years and being set at 90 hp to boot, so I will not fault that one very easily. No they were not hard to start if you made up your mind to start it as designed, rather than as you thought it should have been designed to start. My 656D and 560D were without question the most efficient horse power I ever had on farm. I probably put a total of 100,000 hours on tractors farming The only poor tractors IH ever built were, some of the off shore junk and gassers without sleeves.
