John: I didn't say I would give $1,000. per set for them. To start with they have to be in top shape to bring that money. You cant have broken pieces, pieces missing or egg shaped holes for pins. For that reason I find I almost need to stumble on them for the dime per dozen. A guy asked me the other day, value of a certain machine. I point out one weekness that particular machine had. Since it was a mower it had also a lot of wear parts. I suggested he check out price on all those wear parts. I said your mower is worth price of scrap plus new cost of the wear parts you don't need. Cultivators, plows, disks, blades, etc. are all thr same way.
