if you can afford to stay patient the right opportunity will come along. i was finally able to buy my own farm a year ago and was very eager to get a tractor. i wanted 706 bad but wasn't haveing anyluck finding one in my price range. i came close to buying some junk a few times but a good neighbor kept stepping in and borrowing me his equipment(nice collection of farmalls and internationals by the way). and finally it happened! i found a 706 w/ a wide front, aftermarket 3 pt and a nice 2000 loader on it for under $5000(even talked the guy out of a year rounder cab and grapple!) it can happen, have patients!
