I know that the rod caps are numbered 1,2,3,4 with numbers starting from the front of the engine. Main caps may be numbered but can't remember for sure. Install them so the stamped in numbers are closest to the camshaft side of the engine. If the mains are also numbered, #2 should be the center thrust bearing cap. Main caps should be torqued to 100 ft. pounds.
