Well, if you do decide to go forward with this. I would have a new email address created from your ISP, and respond back with that. Also, have your bank create a separate "new" account to deposit it in. It may be a honest deal, but if you are defrauded by a foreigner, your legal options will be slim.

I have hard that cashiers checks can still be canceled for a period of 60 days. So be carefull.
