We have three 66 series tractors, A 1066 with 8,400 hours, A 966 with 7,000 hours, 4166 with 4,300 hours .
We have never had to overhaul any of them. The 1066 was bought new in 1976, It did not have a water filter on it when we bought it.
We put one on when the kits came out. Before that we changed coolant every year.
I have only heard of two 66 series tractors in this area that had to be overhauled because of cavitation both were 966's .
