It's just a play on the same scam. He says he's sending a check for the asking price but sends a check for more than that and then calls frantically claiming a mistake in the amount. He asks you to send him the overage. This scam can work because banks tend to honor cashiers checks and will often credit your account. On foreign checks your bank may find out weeks later the check is bogus. Many banks are likely aware of these scams now so maybe they've altered procedure. He says he'll arrrange transportation but never does it. He never intends to transport it.
