The Cross hitch has a piece which ties the two sides together which is supposed to (If memory serves) run under the factory swinging drawbar. The only way I was able to leave it on was to remove the support bolts from the drawbar support and leave them out with the drawbar raised all the way up. I called Cross, and complained but never got a real good answer. The sad part is that it is "almost" a good design, and with a few minor changes could be a good usable hitch for the $$. I think I only paid a little over $400 for it and I was able to pick it up fairly close so I avoided shipping costs. I tried to save a buck, and am paying for it, as I have $400 in a hitch sitting under a tree right now.
