There is always the option of sitting on the tractor when you start it, that way you avoid running yourself over. My B and others that I've seen have a rod connected to the starter switch that makes it very easy to push in the clutch and then push (with the same foot) the starter switch while sitting on the tractor. This was discussed a few weeks ago, maybe your B is missing the rod. Phil
