Well,I was all set to pull the top of the tranny back off of my H this afternoon top get the forks back right and I wanted to see which one I missed,so I took off the steering column,the seat,the tank,took all the bolts out and pryied up on the cover with a prybar and took a ppek inside.My first thought was right,missed 2nd and 3rd slider.The more I looked I got an idea,IF I could get it up just enoguh to move the gear in the right place,and I did it careful enough,I wouldnt have to pull the top and repalce an expensive,didnt fit right to start with unitl I modiifed it a little gasket!slide the gear back about a 1/4 inch,eased the top down and Whamo! problem fixed and to my surprise,after abotu two hours of riding the kids,not a single leak form the top.............YET!
