When I first started using my A with a sicklemower, there were some spots on my property that were pretty steep, I just put that tractor in first gear with just a little throttle, and crept along with it. I put the left side of the tractor on the uphill side as some on this site suggested and managed to mow the property with no problems. My farmer neighbors probablly got a laugh out of how slow I was going, but Im still around to talk about it! scotty
