When I got my 53 H, I changed pionts, plugs, condensor. Also I had to readjust the govenor. Took the carburator off, (had a buddy by the name of Bailey that couldn't see without his glasses) rebuild my carb. When I turn the fuel on to start it I go half throttle, because you need a mouthful of air to make the fuel fire. I live in the NE of the United States and I have started it in -15 weather. The only thing I had to do was choke about 2 cranks. After that she was running. As far as the carb goes had to pinch the float pin hole shut alittle bit (cause the pin came out and Bailey didn't see it). :-) Can't beat the H boys!!!!!!
