Ih 350 utility power steering

I have a 350 utiltiy with factoy power steering with Hydro touch. The tractor has an add on backhoe and front loader with crankshaft mount pump. The power stering doesn't work because the hydro touch system is restricted some where. Because the hydro touch will never get used due to the loader, could I plumb the power steering unit straight into the live hydro touch pump with a resevoir without hurting the p/s unit. Any help would greatly be appreciated. As most of you know a bucket full of dirt and no power steering don't mix.
