Keneth,There is a pto wood splitter manufactured about 30 years ago called a Bliss spliter,it had a stationary front and back and there was a double bladed ax that moved in the middle,that way it would split both ways.it also had a table on it where you could arange the wood.This splitter would keep 3 good men busy.all of the comerical wood dealers had one.This splitter was manufactered by Mr.Bliss,Ashburn,VA along with the bliss stump ax which was a ax that was mounted on a machine that would hold a tree up-right and cut it off at the stump,he also designed a snow basket that was used on a large tractor to move snow
