Hi, neighbor had one that was driven by pto. It was like a big wood screw in the shape of cone.
It had a small table that you set the block of wood on and then pushed it into the spinning cone.
As the threads on the cone started to screw into the block it would split. I always thought it was very DANGEROUS. If clothing or anything attached to you got caught in the spinning cone, I had vision of a spinning person. There was no emergency shut off.
