Yes that is what I am saying. The only oil the rockers and valves get comes from the wicks and they are oiled only from the oil you put in the trough through the holes in the valve cover. That is why it is important to oil them often. I don't run mine a lot so I oil them every time I use them. As I said you need to know if the wicks are good. If they are not they will not oil like they should and you will have a problem in time. They are not hard to cheak and fix but need to be done.
