Hey Dave, I think it sounds high. I got a 1948 cub last spring with a dozer/grader blade, tire chains, all four wheel weights and a one bottom plow for 1850. Tires are good but starting to check and it runs very good. No dents in the sheet metal and it had been painted with a brush many years ago( a least it didn't rust!) The front end is good and tight and it seems like it wasn't used much or abused. These are very popular little tractors but I think you can get a better deal, just don't get discouraged. Good luck!
