806 engine MIA

I just bought an 806 rolling chassis, everything is good, TA ect... but with no engine. I was thinking about either finding and puttin the german back in her, or maybe tradin up to somethin a little more parts friendly.

What is everyone's thoughts on this, who did this before?

My main concern is with finding a "running" engine out of an 806. Also aren't rebuilds on these engines getting a little pricey too?
