Well, my C came with a Key start, with a solenoid on the starter, ans 12V system, Im in the process of ripping it all of. Putting on a Saddle mount Starter switch, Replacing Starter Rod, lever, whole thing, going back to mag ignition too. Nothing wrong with Magneto, Why do you use a distributor? Anyway, take the Dist. cap off, and turn the engine over by hand until the cylinder up front is at TDC and the Rotor button is pointing at it. If you cant do that, switch the rotor button 180 degrees >:)!!
