We received this by Email, and posting here in hopes that we can help. We've found stolen tractors before, let's all keep an eye out for this one. Thanks! Kim

====================
As a little girl, some of my fondest memories were growing up on the farm and riding on the rim of my Grandfather's International Farmall M tractor. He farmed over 100 acres of land in Morrow County, Ohio with two farmall's and a little Ford. My Grandmother took care of the farm house and was delighted to cook three hearty meals a day for the whole family. My brothers and I grew up next door to my Grandparents and as soon as school was out we would run over as soon as we could to see them. They were like second parents to us and I learned so much growing up on a farm. I learned about life and death, how to work hard for a living and about giving and sharing.

My family sold most all of my Grandfather's farm equipment when he passed, but we kept one special piece of him which was his Red International Farmall M tractor. My Grandfather's entire family have all held that tractor very close to our hearts. It has sat in the barn for many years, but it was almost like my Grandfather was right there sitting on that tractor. For the past 15 years since he has passed, I know my Grandmother, siblings, parents and other family members have visited the barn to reminisce and remember my Grandfather and what a good man was.

The reason I am telling this story is because on the morning of Thursday, Febuary 19'th two men parked a white flat bed truck at the end of my Grandfather's driveway and drove a small tractor down the drive. They broke in to my Grandfather's barn and hauled the Red International Farmall M, with flat tires, and the cutter up the drive and loaded it on their truck. Most anyone reading this will know that the tractor and cutter is not worth that much, but a lifetime of memories have been stolen from my family and myself. I still have pictures in my office of when I was a little girl on that tractor with my brothers and my Grandfather and that was all taken away from us by someone needing a little money. My family could have sold it if we wanted the money, but it was so sentimental to us that we left it in the barn to remember my Grandfather.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of my Grandfather's Red International Farmall M tractor that was stolen on Febuary 19'th, you would be mending the hearts of a whole family who misses our dear Grandfather and the one thing he loved most in life...farming with his Farmall Tractor.

Please send any confidential replys to osubuckeye1972@yahoo.com

Sincerely,

A family of broken hearts
