Michael; I had a 300 I had purchased. I figured it would need at least rings and valves and bearings. I used it thru the summer and we pulled the engine and took it in to my mechanic. We ended up putting in clutch and TA. New crankshaft and getting the head repaired.New sleeves and pistons and valves I believe. Dont remember what it cost for repairs but it shows you can get alot of money tied up in repairs.
