Doyle: I think if I remember correctly your dad bought that tractor new, am I right or wrong? Is there a chance your dad may have switched that engine without your knowledge? Your serial number 21135 is 1956 and is final year of 300U production, however it is a very early 56 model. I don't know the actual production figures as YT only gives us the beginning figure for each year. However if you look at those figures for both 300U and the 350U, it would be safe to assume 10,000+ 300U were built after yours. Thus it is not a case of a factory engine switch near end of production.
