According to your info the block was cast the last month of 1957 by then 350's would have been in production a little over a year. What has me curious is the engine serial number. Never saw a C-175 with that high of a serial number in a tractor. According to one source I have looked at, the tractor engine serial numbers never passed 30,500. I think I'm creating more questions than answers. Did you check to see if it had a fuel pump blockoff plate on left side of block?
