Gentlemen, thanks for all the ideas and info.JB's post may have shed some light on the subject. My uncle worked for IH 30 some years, and if any demonstraters, or any deals were to be had, he would have been in on it.This 300 I now have may have been a demo, may have had engine trouble and was returned to dealer, or who knows what.I am fairly certain that it came into Grandpa's possesion with a C-175 engine,I think Dad would remember if the engines were swapped.Again, there are many questions about this tractor that I will never have an answer to, guess I was just wondering if any of you guys had seen a C-175 in a 300U.
