Super A block

The block on my SA wich I've had for 6 or 7 years is cracked, was when I bought it and I knew. It has started leaking. The crack is behind the carb runs horizonal, about a foot long. When it was repaired last time it was welded. The beads seem to run along the surface more or less. My plan is to grind off the weld and either braze or JBWeld the crack. Any advice?
