IH MD / TD engines

Does a IH TD9 share engines with another IH machine such as an MD or WD Farmall?

I found a TD9 right around the corner from me with a froze engine pretty cheap. The machine is in good condition besides being siezed. Two cylinders are siezed from rainwater in the stack for a few years. The head is already off and has been checked out, worked by a machine shop and is ready to go back on. I know it will need rings, pistons and liners for the two cylinders and a gasket set. Are these parts readily available and affordable enough to try to resurect this machine?
