The hitch parts of the 3 point implement may interfer with the PTO shaft, since the PTO is offset. To use a bush hog you will need an overrunning clutch. Since you've been using the bush hog on a Ford 8N, you likely know that already. The three point conversions on the 140 don't work real well in my view, just well enough to be functional. I'd suggest that you convert your bush hog to the 1 point hitch rather than putting the 3 point on the tractor. Lifting capacity of the 140 is limited, but will be helped, if your tractor has the helper spring that is usual with the one point hitch. Also the 3 point on the 140 uses a short top link, that limits the lift range and the geometry somewhat. The 140 is a good little tractor and should give you good service and I would agree, that it is probably nearly as strong as a Ford 8N.
