I'm working on the input shaft assembly to the main transmission. The input shaft is in it's own housing which bolts into the main case. The front bearing of the old bearing had a groove on the OD. I believe that the groove was to hold an outside snapring which would position the input shaft. The input shaft bearing retainer is designed for a snapring on the OD of the bearing. The bearing which I purchased from Gruenwald in Wisconsin does not have the groove on the OD of the bearing. Do you have any information which shows a snapring to position the input shaft in the front bearing housing assembly. If you do could you please let me know how I could get a copy or any more information. Thanks, Mike
