First of all, for a $1500ish tractor I'd start looking for an M or a 400 or something. They're a much bigger tractor in horsepower but not much different in physical size. Also a 400 would have live hydraulics and power steering also. Maybe in your area those are big money tractors but in my area( northern Illinois) they can be bought for less money than the little ones. Those little ones are neat but not much good for real work horses.
