Man, did someone get up on the wrong side of the bed this AM? A guy does a nice thing and gets ragged on and it ends up in a condemnation of the entire internet and the stock market? I'll leave the internet alone but fathers and grandfathers have invested in stocks for decades to the betterment of the economy and their families. So a few bad apples got in there, stocks can and are still a good bet. There are gamblers (day traders) in the market but there are also a lot of honest investors who buy solid companies based on research and hold the stock long term. I am one of them and my investments are consistently strong. Don't be in such a hurry to condemn.
