If your Cub handles the 60" mower (depends on tractor condition and grass being mowed) and your pain is in the time to mow, I would suggest an independently powered offset mower designed to be pulled by a lawn and garden tractor.

I don't think a Cub is up to driving a mower much wider than 60" in one pass with acceptable results.

My wife's solution was for me to move our fence in and let the cows take care of the extra duties. BTW they fertilize as they mow and most tractors don't have that attachment. It's kind of like the ultimate mulching attachment.
