Hello; I'm poking in from the Ford N-series board but i'm actually working on a 1948 Long Model A tractor. The reason i'm asking here is the Model A was very very similar to the Farmall H. Rumor has it that the company quite making the tractor as a result of lawsuits from International Harvester. Anyways, I need to find a brake for the right hand side of this tractor. It uses a band brake type mechanism with a shoe on the outside and a shoe on the inside with the "drum" sandwiched between them. Does anybody have a picture of what the inside of a farmall H brake system looks like? I had a feeling that the H and M used just an external band system, but i'd like to check. Thanks!
