Thanks guys. I'll sleep tonight, take a deep breath, and try it again in the morning. I can see on the bottom of the pump, and I can also feel it and there seems to be a grove for the o-ring around the bolt, but there doesn't seem to be a groove on either piece for the oval ring. I will look again tomorrow. Thanks, Harley
