Although I haven't paid too much attention to the 'leveling-out' or control linkage up to this point, I will now. From what I can recall, all the parts are there, but they may not be agreeing with one another. I was thinking that to compensate for a pump that was degrading over time and not delivering its design pressure, Dad may have adjusted (if this is at all possible) the relief valve, but seeing what I've just written, this doesn't make sense. I will give the linkage and other items a good going over this weekend. Thanks for the input.
