The adjustment screws probably will get the fingers to 2 5/32", but that will move them away from the throwout bearing, making matters worse. So in addition to that, I would guess that something else is wrong. The throwout bearing should sit 3/16" from the face of the fingers. It looks like the inner face of the clutch cover should be 27/32" from the face of the pressure plate. On my H the arm on the clutch release shaft points straight down (new pressure plate, 2 yr old disk). The length of the clutch operating rod (from center to center, pedal to arm) is 31 1/2". Are the heavy washers that hold the release yoke to the cross shaft in place ? Is your release yoke bent ?
