stan- thanks again for the info! i had my brother over last night to review your info. do the bolts [coarse 5/8] fit the side of tranny? because i'm quite sure the bottom holes are 1/2-13.i think this is where that 3/4" plate comes into play[ we do not have this component,] the cd info saying the five models use the same part[s] numbers help me- provided the drawbar is indeed from a "c". i don't know when i'll get back to look at his tractor to continue checking it out, but i do check this web as often as i can. he's not as enthusiastic as me. once the weather breaks here in erie, pa, we'll get the bug to monkey around. i'm still waiting for feedback from the guy at work about the plate/ spacer. thankyou! jim greene
