TP, If you don't mind, what did you pay for your 504 and what kind of shape is it in? I just brought one home about 2 weeks ago with a IH 2001 loader. It is my first tractor since I was a kid. I have only used it for a little loader work so far, but it seems good and strong. I am considering modifying the loader a little. It hangs pretty far over the front end (might it have been designed for a Farmall) and can lift the rear wheels enough to loose traction when I pick up something heavy. Of course a 55 gallon drum filled with concrete is pretty good ballast in the rear also and probably cheaper/easier than modifying the loader. I am still trying to get some pictures to post. TIA, Kirk
