I have a question regarding the air cleaning system. I would like to remove and clean the wire screen / filter within the body assembly as it has trapped debries. However, there is a bracket at the end of the assembly that is spot welded to the body assembly. This prevents removal of the screen.

Should I try to wash out the screen within the body assembly or should I remove the screen (i.e., brak the spot welds...)? I would appreciate any feedback.
