Well, I did it! I bought my first crawler. It is an older TD-9 (early to mid 40's). I Love it! It is equipped with a Bucyrus-Erie Blade and Bosch injection (1 filter instead of 2 on the IH pump). It has always acted funny until fully warmed up. Like a sticking starting valve or injector. Anyway, It started acting like it is getting diesel injected into it while still running on gas. I posted this question here rather than on the crawler forum because I really doubt this problem is exclusive to crawlers. I owned a Super WDR-9, and know how to operate these big diesels, but I never had a problem like this before. The incredible amounts of unburnt diesel smoke this is producing while on the gas side is starting to bother the neighbors....the next town over! I should also mention that while on the diesel side, since this problem started, I'm unable to get her to idle down. Wants to run at a fairly high rpm. Help, my friends. Help! That big pile of dirt of mine isn't going to push itself!

There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
