Alright guys, I have a story for you and hopefully you can help me out. I always thought '52-53(stage 1) Super M's looked like an M-Battery under the tank, no live hydraulics, and '54(stage 2) Super M's had the battery under the seat with live hydraulics. I was looking for a Stage 2. A guy said he had a Super M for sale with the battery under the seat. I assumed it was a '54 with live hydraulics so I went to look at it. I was wrong! It did have the battery under the seat, but it didn't have live hydraulics! It looked like an M with a '54 Super M seat! It was obvious by looking at the tractor that this was original, with the start rod versus the button on the platform. So I looked at the Tag and the numbers show that it is a '53 Louisville Super M with the Serial number reading L-xxxxxx. Were all the Louisville tractors set up different from conventional Super M's? Why were they different? Are these hard to find Super M's? I don't need one without live hydraulics, but is it worth grabbing up for collectability? Thanks for any Info? I just thought this was a really wierd Super M! Thanks Again, -Rob

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
