Kevin, I have had several of the cultivision tractors (A, SA, B, BN) and just about all of them had the type of screws you are talking about securing the pedal cover on them. The only ones that didn't have them had obviously been changed because they didn't even match each other! My experience tells me that you have original fasteners!
