Serial number question on Super C

Since y'all have been so helpful with everything else...
The chassis serial number tag is missing from my SC. Guy's Farmall Data book says the engine serial number should be on the right side of the engine, behind the ignition unit. Mine has the casting code there (X code for 1952), but no other numbers. There is a six digit number behind the oil filter canister, with an "R" suffix, but it is a high number 3xxxxx. Too high to be an SC serial number. Can anybody help?
