Bud: Good question, I would think it more important on the V models than the regular ones. I have never been around V models. I didn't realize this was the case. There is if I remember a lot of cast in both wheels of a SAV. I wonder if that may be reasoning. I do remember a neighbor changing wheel tread on his SA and thus changing the cast wheel to oposite side. He said to my dad one day," Take my tractor for a drive its very unstable, I'm even afraid to drive it." Dad told him to get out his manual, it does specify in there, cast wheel on right.
