Okay,,,,here's how we've done it on the farm for ever,,,,,take the starter off and lay on the ground,,take a pair of jumper cables connected to a good hot battery and touch the ground to the starter,,,anywhere will be fine,,,now touch the positive to the lead on the starter and see if it turns,,,,if it spins and you think it sounds normal than you have other problems,,,,Don't worry it'll be fine,,,
