400 diesel, and a 450 LP gas !!

I know of these 2 IH tractors. The 450 only has a straight drawbar, and power steering. 400 has fast-hitch, and is diesel. Both used decent shape. I would say about same used tractors, running. Which would be better to pursue? Is the diesel a hard one for finding engine parts, or engine work more costly? Would the fast-hitch go on the 450 from the 400 OK ? What is there to putting on a good used fast-hitch to the 450, would you have to take the regular drawbar off ? I wonder which one would be a better choice, any opinions ? If both were very similar mechanically ? Please let me know...... thanks a lot !!!!!! MJD
