I am slowly converting my small farmall fleet back to six volt, they were converted by previous owners. I have had to replace a ring gear and have had a lot of starter repairs on the 12 volt units. A propely tuned 6 volt tractor will run fine,has for 60 years. Easier to change the cables and ignition parts than a ring gear. "Originals" bring a better price at resale as well. But if you are determined, the Red Power forum a few days back had the same question with diagrams and parts suppliers.
