John, We just finished planting approximately 20 acres in Alfalfa on friday April 9th. We had corn on this ground last year. We kept watching the soil change and when it seemed ok to work the ground, we went to work. Chisel plowed it, Disc'ed it down several times, (had two disc's going over it multiple times) Harrowed it smooth and broadcast it along with some lime and map. Now to wait and see. Good luck to you!
