Get yourself an operators manual. They are cheap. I think it's the same for both the 400 and the 450. About 15 gallons (U.S.). Drain the tranny and diff. (plugs on the bottom) there is also a plug towards the middle of the tractor. Not much will come out but it's good to get rid of any source of contamination. Loosen the belt pulley cover also and let the water out of there also. Let it drain a LONG time, then fill it through the triangular shaped plate on the top of the housing by the shifter. (right about where your right foot would rest) Use trademark HY-TRAN to fill it with. Be prepared to spend about a hundred bucks to change it out, but it's worth it to your torque amplifier. good luck sod
