A neighbor bought a swather engine (210, I believe), from me some years ago and put it in an "A". The power unit engine was not equipped for the pilot bearing, and he had to do some machining there, and I think one of the bolt holes in the front of the engine did not match. On the "A", there was some water fitting re-wok needed, as the original engine did not have a water pump. That may not be an issue with your "C". The governor high idle on the power unit will probably be set way above the setting on your "C". The conversion has worked out real well for him, lots of extra power for his finishing mower.
