Super A popping out the carb....

Got my SA running today. I have the timing right on, the valves don't seem stuck, holds 75 psi compression accross the board, and the carb works well. BUT it pops irregularly out the carb, and I think it is just in one cylinder. When it idles, it is fine, but as soon as I rev it up, it just can't do it, and begins to pop...any thought or suggestions? I really don't want to pull the head....It would run just about perfectly if I could fix this.......thanks.....AC
